During the code of conduct, there will be no work on roads, streets or other schemes in the panchayats.

Election results within 72 hours

Panchayat elections will be conducted in 11 phases in Bihar and this time the counting of votes has to be done within 72 hours of the end of polling. It is not that the counting will take place after the end of voting of all the phases, rather the results will be released within the next two days of voting.
