Scientist Shahid Jameel resigns from Covid Task Force as president amid battle over Corona- The second wave of Corona continues in the country, governments are constantly fighting the war against it. Meanwhile, Senior Virologist Shahid Jameel has resigned from the post of Scientific Advisory Group of the Indian SARS-CoV-2 Genome Sequencing Consortia. As of now, it is not known for what reasons he has resigned.

Shahid Jamil had said that the second wave had slowed down, but by July

Jamil had said that even though the cases of infection have reduced, the latter situation will not be easy. Probably it will last longer and may continue till July. This means that despite the reduction in cases, we have to deal with a large number of infections every day.

Dr. Shahid Jameel recently claimed that the second wave of corona’s fall speed is much slower than the first. He said that it cannot be said right now that we have reached the peak of the second wave, although he claimed that the second wave may take a long time to finish.

According to the scientist, the cases in the second wave of Kovid-19 will not be as easy as in the first wave. Jamil said, in the first wave we saw that there was a steady decrease in cases, but remember that this year we have a very high number of infected people.

Shahid Jameel is counted among the biggest scientists of the country. He keeps writing his opinion in the big newspapers of the country regarding the corona virus. Recently, he criticized the government for the prevention of corona. He said that the government had understood that the corona epidemic was over. So at the same time, the temporary hospital and other things related to Corona were closed. Apart from this, he had also written an article in the New York Times recently, in which he suggested to increase the testing and isolation center of Korna in India.

Shahid’s article in the New York Times

Shahid Jamil wrote in the New York Times, ‘I have the support of my colleagues on whatever suggestions I have made about Corona. But due to the policy of the country, there are problems in implementing them. Decisions are not being made on the basis of data. The epidemic has spiraled out of control. The human cost we are facing will leave a lasting mark. ‘
