At the same time, more than 3 lakh other doses were given. However, this figure is about one million less than that of April 6. Earlier on Tuesday, more than 43 lakh doses were given.

So far, 7.59 crore people have been given the first dose and 1.11 crore people have been given the second dose of vaccine. Together, 8.70 crore doses have been given so far. Maharashtra has the highest number of 85 lakh doses in 24 hours till 7 am on Wednesday, while 80 lakh doses have been given in Gujarat after that.
