Sheikh Hasina’s Party Awani league has won a major Victory in Bangladesh in the general elections. It was announced after the results of Sunday late last night. Meanwhile, there have been reports of 17 people killed from across the country in political violence during the elections. Opposition parties have demand re-election after accusing Voting of voting.

According to media reports, the alliance led by the Awami league has won a landslide victory in 266 of the 300 seats. The private channel said that out of 300 out of 299 seats have come. It was reported in the reports that the Awami league has won 266 seats while its Jatia party has won 21 seats. At the same time, the opposition alliance National Unity Front Could win Only 7seats.

Local media say that two seats have won from independent candidates. There is no election on one seat due to the normal death of a candidate. Bangladesh’s Election Commission said that Hasina has got 2,29,539 votes in its south-western Gopalganj constituency. While his nearest rival who is a BNP candidate has received just 123 votes.

Bangladesh opposition part NUF Coalition has refused to accept the results of the election. He has demanded re-election under the leadership of the caretaker neutral government. The NUF is a coalition of many parties, which includes BNPP, Gano Forum, ethic Socialist part,  and agricultural laborers, Public leagues.

NUF Convenor and Senior Counsel Kamal Hussain said that he denies these results and demands the re-election under the leadership of the well-known government. He demanded the cancellation of elections by the Election Commission, saying that he had reports of duplication of almost all the centers.

Sheikh Hasina’s becoming a PM once again can be a piece of good news for India too diplomatically. His Awami League party is known for its soft attitude towards India.
