Sushma Swaraj Not In PM Narendra Modi’s Cabinet: Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) and other 57 MPs, who returned to power after winning a massive victory in the Loksabha Elections 2019, took oath (Oath) on Thursday evening. However, this time BJP’s senior leader Sushma Swaraj is not included in Modi’s new team.

After taking oath of the new cabinet, Sushma Swaraj has thanked Prime Minister Modi for tweeting. Sushma Swaraj tweeted that Prime Minister, you gave me the opportunity to serve the nation and the Nationals as foreign minister for five years and also personally respected me throughout the entire tenure. Addressing Prime Minister Modi, Sushma Swaraj further said that I am very grateful to you. Our government is very successful, this is my prayer to the Lord.

Significantly, besides Prime Minister Modi, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Rajnath Singh, BJP president Amit Shah, BJP leader Nitin Gadkari, Sadanand Gowda and Nirmala Sitharaman, Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) leader Ram Vilas Paswan, BJP leader Narendra Tomar, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Harsimrat Kaur Badal, BJP leader Thavarchand Gehlot, former diplomat Subrahmanyam Jayashankar, BJP leader and Uttam Former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, BJP leader and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda, BJP leader Smriti Irani, Dr Harshvardhan, Prakash Javadekar, Piyush Goyal, Dhmeerndra Pradhan, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Prahlad Joshi, Mahendra Pandey, Shiv Sena leader Arvind Ganpati Sawant, BJP leader Giriraj Singh and Gajendra Singh Shekhawat took oath as cabinet minister.

As Minister of Independent Charge, Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Rao Inderjit Singh, Shripad Yaso Nike, Dr. Jitendra Singh, Kiran Rijiju, Prahlad Singh Patel, Rajkumar Singh, Hardeep Singh Puri and Mansukh L. Mandhwa took the oath.

As the Minister of State, Faggan Singh Kulaste, Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Arjun Ram Meghwal, General (Retd) V.K. Lion, Krishnpal Gurjar, Danave Raosaheb Dadarao, G. Kishan Reddy, Purushottam Rupala, Ramdas Athawale, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, Babul Suprio, Sanjeev Kumar Balian, Dhotre Sanjay Shamrao, Anurag Thakur, Angadi Suresh Chanbasappa, Nityanand Rai, Ratanlal Kataria, V. Murlidharan, Renuka Singh Seruta, Som Prakash, Rameshwar Teli , Pratap Chandra Sarangi, Kailash Chaudhary and Debashree Chaudhary have taken the oath.
