West Bengal Election 2021- The Election Commission has again sent notice to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The Election Commission has sent a notice for the second time on Mamta accusing the Central Security Forces of making false statements. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has been accusing the central security forces of helping the BJP and preventing the voters of Bengal from voting. In this connection, the Commission has sent notice to Mamata Banerjee for the second time. Earlier, the Election Commission had also issued notice to Mamata Banerjee on the statement that all Muslims are united.

Unfortunate to accuse BSF

The notice issued by the Election Commission to Mamata Banerjee also mentions Mamata’s statements in which a Trinamool delegation accused the BSF of protecting the Bangladesh border for threatening villagers in favour of a party. The Election Commission said that it is unfortunate to accuse the TMC of being one of the best forces in the country.

Let me tell you that Mamata Banerjee had advised the voters to remain alert that the soldiers of the Central Paramilitary forces can reach the villages to intimidate and threaten the people. Addressing a public meeting at Balagarh in Hooghly district, Banerjee alleged that the central forces are acting on the instructions of the Union Home Ministry, run by Amit Shah. Banerjee said that the state police force should remain vigilant and should not bow down in front of Delhi.

Whether the commission sends ten notices, I will continue to oppose the division of voters on the basis of religion: Mamta

On the other hand, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Thursday that she will continue to raise her voice against any attempt to divide voters on a communal basis and if the Election Commission wants to send her ten show-cause notices, she will not change her stand.

Mamta had allegedly appealed to Muslim voters to vote in favour of TMC, following which the Election Commission on Wednesday sent a notice to Banerjee for violation of the code of conduct.

During the election campaign in Domjur, TMC chief Banerjee asked why no complaint was filed against BJP’s star campaigner and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his speeches referring to Hindu and Muslim vote banks.

Banerjee said, ‘If you (Election Commission) wish, you can send me ten show cause notices, but my answer will be the same. I will always speak out against the division of Hindu, Muslim votes. I will stand against dividing the electorate on religious grounds.

The Chief Minister said, ‘Why is the complaint not filed against Narendra Modi? Those who talk of Hindu and Muslim (vote bank) every day. How many complaints were filed against those who used the word ‘Mini Pakistan’ during the Nandigram election? ‘
