Twitter FIR News: ‘Fake News’ on the beating of Muslim elder in Ghaziabad- In the case of indecency and assault with a Muslim elder in Loni area of Ghaziabad, UP Police has registered an FIR against 9 people including Twitter India. These include Mohammad Zubair (Co Founder ALT News), Rana Ayub (Senior Journalist, Writer of Gujarat Files), The Wire (News Website), Salman Nizami (Congress Leader), Maskoor Usmani (Congress Leader), Sama Mohammad (Congress Spokesperson), Saba Naqvi (Senior Journalist), Twitter Inc and Twitter Communications India Pvt Ltd.

Ghaziabad Police said that the accused involved in the FIR are senior journalists and politicians. They deliberately posted false, misleading and incorrect information without verifying and verifying any facts. Their purpose was to create enmity, hatred between people of two religious sects.

It was written in the FIR that despite the clarification issued by the Ghaziabad Police, the accused did not delete their tweets due to which religious tension has increased. An FIR has been registered against them under sections 153, 153A, 295A, 505, 120B, and 34 of the IPC.

Giving information about this incident, the Ghaziabad Police said, ‘On investigation in relation to the viral video of assault and indecency on social media, it was found that the victim Abdul Samad had come to Behta, Loni border from Bulandshahr on June 5. From where Parvesh along with another person went to Gujjar’s house in Banthla, Loni. The police further said that the other boys Kallu, Poli, Arif, Adil and Mushahid etc. came to Parvesh’s house and started beating the elderly along with Parvesh.
