CBSE 12th exam 2021: CBSE 12th result till July 31, know on what basis you will get marks- CBSE 12th class result will be released on the basis of performance in class 10th, 11th and 12th. The Central Government gave this information in the Supreme Court on Thursday. The government said that 30 percent weightage will be given to class 10th and 11th marks and 40 percent weightage to performance in class 12th. CBSE 12th results will be declared by July 31. Those children who are not satisfied with the result will be given a chance to re-appear in the examination once the situation becomes normal. The court has accepted the 12th result formula presented by the central government.

The government in its report filed in the apex court on Thursday said that the marks of the best 3 out of 5 papers of class 10th students will be taken. Marks will be taken for all theory papers of class 11th. At the same time, in class 12th, the marks of the unit, term and practical examination of the students will be taken.

The court has clarified that there will be no hearing on the order canceling the exam. If anyone wants to give exam then he can give.

Understand CBSE 12th Class Result Formula

Class 12th – Marks will be given on the basis of performance in Unit Test, Mid Term and Pre-Board Exam. Its weightage will be 40 percent.

Class 11th – Marks will be given on the basis of performance of theory paper of all subjects in the final exam. Its weightage will be 30 percent.

Class 10th – Marks will be given on the basis of the performance of theory paper of three subjects out of the main 5 subjects. Three out of five subjects will be those in which the student has performed best. Its weightage will also be 30 percent.

CBSE will be based on academic record of three years and ICSE for six years.

Attorney General KK Venugopal, appearing for the government and CBSE, told the court that each school will have to constitute a results committee to consider the marks obtained by the students in all the three examinations, which will be examined by the moderation committee of CBSE.

The hearing on the petition seeking cancellation of the examination of state boards will be held on Monday.

Mamta Sharma, appearing for the petitioners, said that the evaluation scheme of CBSE class 12th is satisfactory and has no objection.

The apex court asked Venugopal to outline the dispute resolution mechanism in the CBSE’s plan so that the grievances of the students can be heard. Venugopal assured the bench that a committee would be constituted to address any concerns of the students.

The court said that the time limit should also be clarified for the declaration of results and the proposed examination of class 12th. The court said that it has also rejected the arguments of some of the petitioners that the decision to cancel the board examinations should be withdrawn.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations will also release the ISC (12th) results by July 31.

This year 14.5 lakh students are registered in CBSE 12th.

The practical will be of 100 marks and marks will be awarded to the students on the basis of marks sent by the school. Schools that have not yet been able to take practicals have been asked to take online practical tests and oral exams. Schools have to send the internal assessment marks to the board by June 28.

The Supreme Court was hearing petitions seeking a direction to cancel the Class 12 examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) amid the coronavirus pandemic situation.

The court had given two weeks to the Centre, CBSE and the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) to inform them about the criteria for declaration of results for class 12 students.
