IAS Topper Shah Faesal Resigns- Srinagar: IAS Officer Shah Faesal resigned from his job on Wednesday. Shah Faesal topped the Civil Services Examination (2010) and was from Jammu and Kashmir. Shah Faesal resigned while accusing the alleged killings in Kashmir and not making serious efforts by the Center in these cases. 35-year-old Shah Faesal (IAS Topper Shah Faesal) wrote in a brief statement on Facebook that his resignation was against the growing culture of intolerance and hatred in the name of “Junk” . ‘

Shah Faesal recently returned from training abroad and was waiting for posting. Shah Faesal said that he has decided to resign from the Indian Administrative Service, due to continuous killings in Kashmir and no serious efforts by the Central Government on these. Faesal did not name the BJP-led government at the Center, but speaking an indirect attack alleged that government institutions like RBI, CBI and NIA were being harmed, so that the Constitutional building of this country could collapse and it would have to be stopped.

He said, “I want to repeat that the voices in this country can not be pressed for long, and if we want to live in true democracy, then we have to stop it.” Faesal thanked friends, family and well-wishers for choosing him in the IAS and on his next trip. He said that my important task would be to train young people who want to come to the administrative service so that their dream is fulfilled.

Faesal said that he will tell the media about his future plans on Friday. As the news of Faisal’s resignation on social media spread, National Conference leader Omar Abdullah welcomed him in politics. Umar tweeted, “The loss of bureaucracy can be the benefit of politics. Welcome to this side Shah Faesal. ‘

Subsequently, on social media, claims were made that Faisal would join the National Conference in the coming days. Responding to this, Omar said that he has welcomed Faisal only in politics. He said, ‘They have to declare their future political plans.’ Six months ago the Jammu and Kashmir government had taken a tweet about disciplinary action against Faesal. The tweets were made on the cases of rape being constantly appearing. The personnel and training department of the Center considered it to be a failure in fulfilling its integrity as a duty.
