People from 18 to 44 years of age will be able to register on the Covin portal from 28 April. If people of this age group want to get vaccinated at private vaccination centers, then they have to pay the price. People below the age of 45 years will also be eligible to get vaccinated in government vaccination centers in states or union territories.

The ‘Covishield’ states produced by the Serum Institute of India will be available at Rs 400 per dose and private hospitals at Rs 600 per dose, while Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin states will get Rs 600 per dose and private hospitals will get Rs 1200 per dose.

Rajesh Bhushan wrote a letter to states and union territories

Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said in a letter to states and union territories that each private immunization center is aware of the types of vaccines, their prices and the number of vaccines available on the Covin portal in view of the vaccination campaign starting from May 1. Have to do.

He said that keeping this in mind, changes are being made on the Kovin portal. The Health Secretary said, ‘The types of vaccines and their prices will be available on the Kovin portal so that citizens can choose at their convenience at the time of registration.’

In the letter, he told that the registration for vaccination at private centers will be done only through online through Covin portal or Arogya Setu App. As per the largest vaccination campaign in the world, the total number of doses of Kovid-19 vaccine given in India exceeded 14 crore on Sunday.
