UP Cabinet Expansion: As CM Yogi Adityanath returns, Jitin Prasad and AK Sharma can get a place!- The cabinet expansion is being considered almost certain before the assembly elections to be held next year in UP. There is a discussion that this can be done as soon as CM Yogi Adityanath returns from Delhi. According to sources, Arvind Sharma, a close aide of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Jitin Prasad, who left the Congress and joined the BJP, may be given a place in the cabinet.

The discussion of cabinet expansion is intensifying in the political corridors of UP only after Yogi Adityanath was invited to Delhi by the BJP High Command. On Thursday, CM Yogi met Home Minister Amit Shah. Today he is having a meeting with PM Modi and BJP President JP Nadda. It is being said that the cabinet expansion will be finalized in the meeting with JP Nadda.

They can get a place in the possible cabinet

Apart from MLC Arvind Sharma, in the possible cabinet expansion, six including Anupriya Patel’s husband Ashish Patel and Nishad Party chief Sanjay Nishad can be given place from Apna Dal. The height of Deputy CM Keshav Maurya will also be increased. Apart from this, Mahendra Nath Pandey and Jitin Prasad, who left Congress and joined BJP, can also be entrusted with the ministry to get Brahmin votes. Four MLC seats are getting vacant in UP, elections are going to be held on these too. In such a situation, there is a discussion that Jitin Prasad can be made a contender for this.

Efforts were also on to bring Rajbhar

It was also discussed that BJP had contacted Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party chief Om Prakash Rajbhar to remove the displeasure of the backward classes, but Rajbhar refused to board, calling the BJP a sinking boat.

There was a rift in the Yogi-Centre regarding Arvind Sharma!

The discussion about giving a big post in the cabinet to Arvind Sharma, who came into politics from bureaucracy, is going on for the last several days. Earlier it was being said that CM Yogi Adityanath is not comfortable with him, although after the meeting with the High Command, things seem to be working out. According to sources, marathon discussions would mean an expansion in the state cabinet keeping in mind the caste equation.

Lessons learned from a setback in Panchayat elections

The same lesson from the defeat of the BJP in the recent Panchayat elections in many places is that all castes, especially Brahmins should also be respected and represented. Over-dependence on bureaucracy should be reduced and balance should be maintained with the people of the party. It is to be known that in the last few meetings of RSS and BJP office bearers were going on in UP.

Cabinet expansion, vacant posts will be filled

According to sources, there will be a cabinet expansion soon in UP and vacant posts in commission-corporations will be filled. Seven seats are vacant in the cabinet, on which Apna Dal (S) and Nishad Party, which have so far claimed to be neglected, are also claiming. Both also need a seat in the Union Cabinet along with nomination of their workers in the commission and corporations. About 110 posts are vacant in the commission-corporations including the chairmen of the Minorities Commission, the Backward Classes Commission and the Scheduled Castes Commission.
