The CBI has raided the residence of former Haryana Chief Minister and Congress veteran Bhupinder Singh Hooda in Rohtak on Friday morning. According to sources, the action is still on and Bhupendra Hooda is present inside the house. CBI officials are not allowing anyone to go inside or out of the house. CBI teams are raising more than 30 places in Delhi-NCR simultaneously.
It is being told that the CBI has struck the raids in the case of incorrectly assigning land to Associated Journals Limited (AJL) in the year 2005. Meanwhile, Times Now reported that the CBI has registered a new case against Hooda. Explain that the CBI has filed a charge sheet against Bhupinder Singh Hooda, senior Congress leader Motilal Vora and AJL.

Not only this, Haryana’s Governor Narayan Arya had approved the CBI’s prosecution against former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda in the much awaited AJL case. The former Chief Minister is accused of placing the land against the rules in Panchkula for AJL for its newspaper National Herald. The present BJP government had handed over the case to CBI in the year 2016.
Before the BJP came to power, Hooda had made the issue a referendum, and after getting the power, investigated various cases. Among them was the case of the AJL. On the case, the BJP government submitted the investigation to the Vigilance Department in May 2016. The case was registered on the complaint of Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA). In this case, the former Chief Minister came to the notice because the Chief Minister is the ex-officio chairman.

This land was allotted to AJL on August 30, 1982. The condition was that the company would construct the land in six months, but if it did not happen, then the property officer of Panchkula on October 30, 1992, resumed the land. Also, after deducting 10% of the amount, the amount was returned on November 10, 1995. Its AGL protested and appealed to the Department of Revenue. Even here AJL did not get relief
It is alleged that in the year 2005, AJL found great relief during the Chief Minister’s post in Hooda when being the Chairman of the Haryana Urban Development Authority, then Chief Minister Hooda set the way for the allotment of the land again to AJL. It is said that when the then Chief Administrator of Hooda had argued that it is not possible to allow the land at the old price. Regardless, on August 28, 2005, Panchkula’s land allotted to AJL at the rate of 1982.
