Victim’s mother and family told Pearl V Puri innocent, said – ‘She is being framed’- In the case of ‘Naagin 3’ fame Pearl V Puri, now the statement of the victim’s father has come to the fore. He says that what happened to his daughter has nothing to do with the ongoing controversy over their marriage. In fact, on June 4, Pearl V Puri was arrested by the Valiv police station on charges of raping a minor. A case has been registered against him under the POCSO Act. Recently, actress Divya Khosla Kumar had claimed that Pearl V Puri was falsely implicated by the girl’s father due to an ongoing dispute with his wife.
The girl’s father’s lawyer Ashish A. While issuing a statement on his behalf, Dubey said- I advocate Ashish A. Dubey, the lawyer of the father of the victim of 5 years, issue an official statement on behalf of my client. The girl, who is 5 years old, was in the custody of the mother for 5 months and the father had no contact with her during these 5 months. One day when the father went to school to pay the fees, the girl ran to him and said that she was scared and wanted to go with him.
Seeing the fear on the girl’s face, the father brought her home. After reaching there, the girl narrated her ordeal. The father immediately called the police and after the girl’s medical examination at Nair Hospital, it was confirmed that she was telling the truth. The girl gave the screen name of the accused (Ranbir). Since his father does not watch TV serials, he did not know anything about him. After investigation it came out that Ranbir is an actor’s screen name and his real name is Pearl Puri.
The girl was shown photos of different actors and when Ranbir’s (Pearl Puri) photo came out, she confirmed that he was the accused. Later the police spoke to the girl. He was even asked to meet the magistrate alone and record 164 statements. The girl narrated the same story before the magistrate and identified the same man. The girl also told the magistrate that she had immediately informed her mother about the incident. Mother had reprimanded Ranbir.
The lawyer raised some questions on behalf of the client
The lawyer further said- I want to put some more things on behalf of my client. Because many false stories are being made about him on social media.
The girl had come running to her father to ask for help. So like a responsible and loving father my client understood the problem of the girl child and took her to the police station and got her medical done. Is this wrong or a crime?
My client did not take any names. The girl has named the accused.
The girl narrated the incident and the medical examination confirmed that she was telling the truth. So where are my clients wrong? During the investigation, the girl’s mother was also called to Nair Hospital and she was present there. Why would a 5 year old girl tell such a lie? My only question to all the influential people on social media on behalf of my client is whether a 5 year old girl will make such a false allegation. If this happens to your child, wouldn’t you do what my client did?
Allegations like bad marriage, toxic relationship, bad husband are to misrepresent the fact that the girl child was molested. Whether a marriage is good or bad has nothing to do with the incident that happened to the girl child. The girl has spoken the truth and the medical report has confirmed it. Then why all this discussion?
The discussion should be that a 5-year-old girl has been molested and the devil should be punished. Nothing else is necessary.
If influential people create so much hatred over complaints of a heinous crime against a girl child, then why do parents fight for justice for their children?
