Review: The story of Aladdin and Genie has been known for centuries. Earlier, Disney had also made an animated series on it which was well-liked. The new pair of Masood and Scott has brought freshness in this film. Chemistry is amazing on both screens. The film’s biggest surprise package and strong side is Will Smith’s presence as Genie. Will Smith is very good in Genie’s rolls. The main villain Zafar’s role is also well-prepared.
However, the film’s direction seems somewhere not so good. Songs and dance sequences of the film seem to be forcibly put in the film, which could have been avoided. The film has become a bit too long and it seems to be stretching in 2 hours and 8 minutes.
