The examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 10th have been cancelled amid the Coronavirus outbreak. At the same time, the exams of the 12th have been postponed for the time being. Opposition party Congress (Congress) has expressed happiness over this decision of the government. The party has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for obeying Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. There was a demand for cancellation of examinations for a long time.
After discussion with Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ and top officials, PM Modi has taken this decision. The Congress tweeted on this, ‘Well done Modi ji’. After listening to the advice of Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and the Congress party will go further for the betterment of the nation. It is our democratic duty to work together for the good of our people. The Congress wrote, ‘It is good to see that the BJP has finally put the country ahead of its ego.’

However, the final decision should also be taken for the 12th class. He wrote, ‘There was no point in keeping the students under pressure till June. This is wrong. I appeal to the government to make a decision. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has also welcomed the government’s decision.
