Team Sidhu vs Amarinder: Conflict of Congress reached ‘Alibaba and 40 thieves’ in Punjab- The ongoing tussle between Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu and Chief Minister Amarinder Singh is not taking its name to end. Sidhu along with his advisors are also attackers on Amarinder Singh. On Wednesday, Sidhu’s advisor Malvinder Singh Mali gave another controversial statement regarding the captain. Malvinder Mali, on his Facebook page, described Captain Amarinder as ‘Ali Baba’ and his supporters as ‘Chalis thieves’. On the other hand, on this whole matter, Punjab Congress in-charge Harish Rawat has instructed Sidhu to keep his advisors under control. At the same time, he has said that if Congress is harmed by any adviser, then appropriate action will be taken against him.
In fact, earlier this week Malvinder Singh Mali, advisor to Navjot Singh Sidhu, made a lot of headlines for his claim. In this, he had said that Kashmir was a separate country. It was illegally occupied by both India and Pakistan. Mali spoke on the issue of abrogation of Article 370 of the Constitution in a social media post. He had said that if Kashmir was a part of India then what was the need to remove Article 370 and 35A. Sidhu’s advisor Pyare Lal Garg had questioned Amarinder Singh’s criticism of Pakistan.

Captain ‘Alibaba’ and his loyal minister ‘Chalis Chor’
Controversy on this whole matter subsided, Malvinder Singh Mali gave birth to another controversy by posting a new post on Facebook on Wednesday. On Wednesday, Mali attacked Punjab Singh Captain Amarinder Singh and his loyal ministers, calling the Captain ‘Ali Baba’ and his supporters as ‘Chalis Chor’. Simultaneously, Mali warned that Navjot Sidhu would neither act like a ‘groom’, nor would he lead the procession of ‘Ali Baba’ and ‘Challis Chor’. In fact, Malvinder Mali has given the name of forty thieves to those ministers of Captain, who had complained to the Chief Minister.
Harish Rawat gave advice

24 MLAs including 4 ministers blew the bugle of rebellion
In fact, four Punjab cabinet ministers and several Congress MLAs on Tuesday raised the flag of rebellion against Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh. Four ministers Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa, Sukhbinder Singh Sarkaria, Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Charanjit Singh Channi and about 24 MLAs raised the slogan of rebellion against Capt. These leaders said that they do not have ‘belief’ in Captain as he has not fulfilled the promises made before the 2017 assembly elections. This development is being seen as a deepening of crisis in Punjab Congress and open rebellion against Amarinder Singh.
Change CM if needed: Bajwa
Bajwa, who is leading a group of disgruntled leaders, had said on Tuesday that he would seek an appointment with the Congress president and apprise him of the political situation. He had also said that there is a need to take ‘drastic’ steps and if there is a need to change the Chief Minister, then this should also be done.
