Vodafone Idea net loss of Rs 7022.8 crore in March quarter: Debt-burdened Vodafone Idea on Wednesday released its fourth quarter results ending March 2021. Vodafone Idea has incurred a net loss of Rs 7022.8 crore in the March 2021 quarter. The company had a loss of Rs 11643.5 crore in the same quarter last year.
The company’s income during this period stood at Rs 9607.6 crore. The company’s income in the same quarter last year was Rs 10,894.1 crore.
Vodafone Idea results have been released after the market close. On Wednesday, Vodafone Idea shares closed at Rs 9.95, down 1.39 per cent, or Rs 0.14.
During this period, Vodafone Idea’s income stood at Rs 9807.6 crore. While the company’s income in the December quarter was Rs 10,894.1 crore. In the financial year ended March 31, 2021, the company’s loss came down to Rs 44,233.1 crore. Whereas in the financial year 2019-20, the company’s loss was Rs 73,878.1 crore.
Vodafone Idea’s consolidated total annual income declined 8 per cent to Rs 42,126.4 crore in the March quarter. The company’s consolidated income was Rs 45,996.8 crore a year ago.
The gross debt on the company as on 31 March 2021 was Rs 1,80,310 crore. This includes spectrum dues of Rs 96,270 crore, AGR (Adjusted Gross Revenue) of Rs 60,960 crore. Apart from this, there is a bank outstanding of Rs 60,960 crore.
