MS Dhoni Part of an Unwanted Record in India's Biggest T20I Loss

MS Dhoni Part of an Unwanted Record in India’s Biggest T20I Loss:- The first T20 match played against New Zealand proved to be a great match for India. In the T20 match, this match brought India the biggest defeat for India. The Indian team had to face defeat by 80 runs in the first T-20 match. With this victory, the Kiwi team has taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match T-20 series. The batting and bowling of the Indian team in this match are not flawed badly.

New Zealand beat India by 80 runs in the first T20 match at Westpac Stadium. This is the biggest defeat for India in terms of runs in the T20 cricket match so far. On the other hand, New Zealand won their sixth-biggest win in the T-20 International in this match. In this match, New Zealand decided to bat first, making a big score of 219 for six wickets in 20 overs in the stipulated 20 overs. The Indian team could not achieve this goal and got reduced to 139 runs in 19.2 overs.

Despite all this, a record was recorded in Dhoni’s name in this match, which he would not want to remember. During the 39-run innings in Wellington T-20, Dhoni also completed 1,500 runs in T-20 career but he could not win the team despite being the top scorer of the innings once again. It was the fifth time with Dhoni when he reached the score of 30 or more in the T20 International match and became a top scorer but could not win the team.

Dhoni had earlier scored 48 and 38 runs against Australia and England in 2012 and remained top scorer in 2012, but he failed to win the team. After this, Dhoni played against the Kiwi team in Nagpur in the year 2016, but could not win the team once again. Dhoni again scored an unbeaten 36 against England in the year 2017 and lost the team once. Now against the Kiwi team in Wellington, Dhoni scored 39 runs in the Indian innings and India lost the match. If any of these figures are to be seen then any batsman would not want to remember. But the other aspect of this is that Dhoni’s bat is run even when the rest of the team batsmen get frustrated cheaply.
