McDonald's Outlets are closed in North and East India

McDonald’s Outlets are closed in North and East India: American fast food chain McDonald’s, after settling the dispute with his Indian partner Vikram Bakshi, has decided to close some of his 165 outlets in North and East India for a few days now. The company said that it has been done under the operational protocol.  McDonald’s India Private Limited (MIPL) has decided to buy a stake in a joint venture company with Bakshi while compromising the court. Connaught Plaza Restaurants Limited (CPRL), a joint venture company with Bakshi, was running all these outlets. After this agreement, Bakshi will end the two-decades-old relationship with McDonald’s.

McDonald’s Outlets are closed in North and East India

Expect to open in a week or two

The company said that McDonald’s stores in Northern and Eastern India will be closed for some time. These stores were running Connaught Plaza Restaurants Limited (CPRL), a joint venture company with Bakshi. McDonald’s had earlier said that they are being discontinued for “operational protocol assessment and training of employee”.  McDonald’s Asia Pacific Director (Corporate Relations) Barry Com said that the company is hoping to open these stores within a week or two.

MGM will buy 50% shares of Bakshi

McDonald’s Outlets are closed in North and East India- McDonald’s is now taking a full stake in CPRL so it will become subsidiary of it and its subsidiary McDonald’s Global Markets LLC (MGM). With the completion of this transaction, the settlement will be settled with Bakshi. Under this agreement, MGM will buy 50% of the shares of Bakshi in CPRL, which they had since becoming a company. McDonald’s gave this information in a statement on Thursday. He did not say that at what price the stock of Bakshi is being bought. Bakhshi was not able to answer the questions asked by phone and SMS until the news was written. There seems to be speculation that McDonald’s will probably give 1,500-2,000 crore rupees to Bakshi, but this has not been independently confirmed. McDonald’s will focus on these two things

“The company will focus on two things in this change,” McDonald’s said in the statement. First, he plans to keep the company’s future plans in front of the employees so that their trust can be achieved. Secondly, McDonald’s Global System Experience will be used to improve the functioning of the company and to provide the best service to our local customers. McDonald’s stated that the managers and employees who are working for CPRL will be restored during the closing of the stores temporarily. These people will actively work for the company after the re-opening of the restaurants.
