Lucknow Terror Operation: Investigation revealed- Kanpur was getting help to suspected terrorists- UP ATS has arrested two suspected terrorists of Al Qaeda backed organization Ansar Gajwatul Hind from Lucknow. Maseeruddin and Minhaj have revealed many secrets during the interrogation of the ATS. The biggest help of Al Qaeda terrorists was coming from Kanpur. ATS has picked up seven people including the builder from Kanpur for questioning. The terrorists had bought the pistol from a history-sheeter from Kanpur. According to sources, the ATS has also found evidence of tater funding from Kanpur.
The ATS had arrested Al Qaeda terrorists from a house in Lucknow on Sunday. Maseeruddin and Minhaj are active members of the Al-Qaeda-backed organization Ansar Ghazwatul Hind. ATS has camped in Kanpur in search of helpers of terrorists. Several teams of ATS are looking for helpers in Kanpur. The ATS is interrogating seven people, including a builder, in custody.
Teter funding was being done from Kanpur
When the ATS checked the bank details of both the terrorists, it came to know that a large amount has been sent to their accounts from a dozen banks in Kanpur. In the last 6 months, about 16 to 20 lakh rupees have been transacted.
The names of some businessmen of Jajmau, three banks of Chamanganj have come to the fore. The name of the builder of Chamanganj is also appearing in this. The ATS has picked up the builder and Jajmau, Chamanganj, New Road for questioning. ATS had also detained a university professor for questioning, but he was released late in the night.
Pistol and preactivated sim were found from Kanpur
According to sources, during the interrogation of the ATS, it has been found that both the al-Qaeda terrorists had bought the pistol from a history-sheeter in Kanpur. Both the terrorists had come to Kanpur to take delivery of the pistol. In which the ATS has detained the history sheet and the middleman.
Along with this, Maseeruddin and Minhaj also bought preactivated SIMs from Rahmani Market in Kanpur. ATS has picked up as many people for questioning. All of them will also be confronted with Masiruddin and Minhaj. Cross question-answers will be done in face-to-face inquiries.
