Suman Kumari becomes the first Hindu woman judge in Pakistan:- For the first time in Pakistan, a Hindu woman has created history by becoming a judge. Suman Kumari has been appointed as the Judge of Civil Court of Kambar-Shahdkot. In Pakistan, only two percent of the population is Hindu, and after Islam, it is the second largest religion in the country.

Islamabad Suman Kumari has become the first Hindu woman to be appointed as a civil judge in Pakistan. This information has been given in the media news. Suman, a resident of Kambar-Shahdkot, will serve as a judge in his native district. According to the Dawn newspaper, he has studied law in LLB from Hyderabad and Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Science and Technology Institute in Karachi.

According to Suman’s father Pawan Kumar Bodan, Suman wants to provide free legal aid to the poor of Kambar-Shahdadkotot district. He said, ‘Suman has chosen a challenging profession, but I am confident that he will achieve a high level of hard work and honesty.’ Suman’s father is an ophthalmologist and his elder brother is a software engineer. His sister is a chartered accountant.

Suman is a fan of singer Lata Mangeshkar and Atif Aslam. This is not the first case of appointment of a Hindu man in a judge in Pakistan. The first Hindu judge was Justice Rana Bhagwandas who was appointed Acting Chief Justice from 2005 to 2007 for a brief period. Two percent of Pakistan’s population is Hindu, and after Islam, Hinduism is the second largest religion in the country.
