PM Modi gave gifts to world’s top leaders including Kamala Harris- has connection with Kashi- During his visit to the US, Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented some special gifts to Vice President Kamala Harris during bilateral talks with her. Apart from Kamala Harris, PM Modi also presented gifts to the PMs of Japan and Australia. All these gifts have a special connection with Kashi. PM Modi presented a copy of wooden handicraft frame related to old notifications related to her grandfather PV Gopalan to US Vice President Kamala Harris. Let us inform that as a government officer, this frame was given to PV Gopalan for his commendable work during the service period.

According to the report, Prime Minister Modi also presented a pink enamel chess set to Kamala Harris. This chess is associated with the handicrafts of Kashi, one of the oldest cities in the world. Please tell that PM Modi is also an elected MP from Kashi.

Handicrafts have been done on this chess set. While its bright colors reflect the vitality of Kashi. On Thursday, PM Modi and Kamala Harris held lengthy talks at the White House and issued a joint statement to strengthen India-US ties, tackle COVID-19 and other global issues.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi described Kamala Harris as a “source of inspiration” for many people around the world during the meeting and expressed confidence that bilateral relations between India and the US will scale new heights under President Joe Biden and her leadership.

After this PM Modi also met other Quad leaders. He gifted Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison a silver-pink enameled ship, the handicrafts signifying the progress of the city of Kashi.

PM Modi presented a sandalwood Buddha statue to Japan’s Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga. The PM said that Buddhism plays a huge role in bringing India and Japan together. The thoughts of Lord Buddha reflects the culture of Japan. Even during his previous visits to Japan, PM Modi has visited Buddhist temples there.
