Modi’s announcement – 5 lakh insurance will be given to the children orphaned in Corona- The Modi government has announced health insurance for children orphaned by Corona. Union Minister Anurag Thakur has given this information. According to the announcement of the Central Government, free health insurance of Rs 5 lakh will be given to children up to the age of 18 years, who were orphaned due to the corona virus (Covid-19) epidemic. Union Minister Anurag Thakur has announced this. He said the premium would be paid from the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Emergency Situations Relief Fund (PM-CARES).

Anurag Thakur has posted details of the scheme on Twitter along with a link to a government website on the steps taken by the Center to make India self-reliant.

Anurad Thakur wrote in his tweet, “As part of the steps taken to take care of children affected by Covid, children up to 18 years will be given free health insurance of Rs 5 lakh under Ayushman Bharat and its premium will be paid by PM Cares.”

Ayushman Bharat, the flagship scheme of the government, was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in April 2018 with two pillars of Health and Wellness Centers (HWCs) and Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY)

PM-CARES scheme for children was started by PM Modi on May 29, 2021. It aims to support children who have lost both their parents, a legal guardian or an adoptive parent or a surviving parent to the COVID-19 pandemic during the period beginning March.

10 lakh rupees will be available at the age of 23

Anurag Thakur posted details of the scheme on Twitter along with a link to a government website on the steps taken by the Center to make India self-reliant. Along with this, he also shared a photo, on which it is written, children up to 18 years of age who have lost their parents to the infection will be given relief every month. Apart from this, at the age of 23, an assistance amount of Rs 10 lakh will also be given to these children.

PM Modi started the scheme in May this year

Let us tell you that on May 29 this year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the PM Cares for Children scheme for children. The purpose of this scheme is to help children. The objective of this scheme is to take care of children who have lost their parents or legal parents in the pandemic after 11 March 2020.

3.18 crore infected people

With the arrival of 42982 new cases of Covid-19 in a day in India on Thursday, the total number of infection cases has increased to 3 crore 18 lakh 12 thousand 114, while the number of active patients has increased to 4 lakh 11 thousand 76. The number of active patients is 1.29 percent of the total cases of infection, while the national rate of people recovering from Covid-19 is 97.37 percent.
